The Pennystella is a family run hotel and you can really feel a family welcome. The hosts are always available with helpful advice and recommendations. We regularly returned to the hotel's restaurant as the food was delicious and home made. The views from our studio and from the swimming pool area are magnificent. You're only 15 mins walk (walking slowly) from the beach where we enjoyed daily and nightly swims. We highly recommend Pennystella and Agia Pelagia: we had a wonderful family holiday! We will certainly return.

The owners were very hospitable, treating us as members of their own family and we were sad to leave. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The homemade food and drinks were fantastic and the room was clean, comfortable and our room had a great balcony. Thank you Stella and family for a brilliant stay, you really made this a great holiday for us. We'll certainly recommend anyone to stay here and will use you again when we come back to Crete. Thank you for the memories and the Raki 😄😄

The food was home cooked and we enjoyed whatever we sampled. The pool was clean and spacious, sometimes you had it to yourself even in August. The location is on a hillside with great views which does mean some leg work back from the resort beaches or restaurants but we managed fine even with young children. Thank you for our week with you there.

It it in a quiet location, and the swimming pool was nice and there were enough sunbeds. The restaurant at the property was good too, we really felt welcome.
